Going on an additional course is not essential but is a good starting point and will give you a foundation, on which to build. It also looks good on your CV. However, remember there are many aspects to designing and managing research studies and is unlikely that a single course will cover all of them. Choose your course carefully based on what you would like to cover, whether it is literature searching, critical appraisal, research methodology, statistics or how to write a paper. Keep an eye out on our announcements page for up-coming courses!
