    From the audit steering committee:

    Dear all,
A few months ago, we submitted the sepsis study paper to the BJS. Since then, we’ve received reviewer feedback (which although extensive, were generally positive!) and yesterday we submitted a lengthy document in response to all comments.
Hopefully this represents good progress in getting the study published after so long! Apologies it has taken a long time to get to this stage. As with most collaborative projects, the main issues have been data cleaning (not easy with 95 centres!) and statistical analysis. It’s so important to get these things right.
We’ll be in touch again when we have more news. In the meantime, please disseminate this information through your collaborative networks.
Please do not reply to this email with any queries – the account is no longer monitored regularly – instead use sparcsexec@gmail.com

    With best wishes
    Natalie
