New project to join – Perioperative Pain Audit

JamesMeetings

The Perioperative Pain audit recently presented at the National Collaborative meeting is being run by the WMRC (Gen Surg) and WM-Train (Anaesthetic).

Following a pilot feasibility study in two West Midlands Centres, we are now launching the audit and are keen to gain a list of collaborators in as many centres as possible. The study abstract is here http://wmresearch.org.uk/?page_id=406 .

If you are interested in collecting data for this study (2 week prospective audit) please email Paul pmarriott@nhs.net and say at which trust you are currently based. WMRC intend data collection to take place over 2 consecutive weeks (your choice exactly when) before March, with 30 day follow up to be completed by April. On expressing an interest, Paul will send you the protocol and data collection form and ask that you register the audit in your trust asap.
